About Rick Jenkins, Ventriloquist
I am a comedy ventriloquist. My show is strictly clean and suitable for all audiences.
I have done shows for Schools, Libraries, Community Events, and trade shows.
My characters include "Sam Barton the True Blue All-American Dude" who is a storyteller with both comedy and educational elements. "Pommie the American Platypus" is an immigrant from Queensland Australia with an interesting perspective on life.
Hal Koholick appears only in grown-up shows and is a hilarious ogre with a drinking problem. Actually he knows how to drink quite well, thank you.
The show closes with a volunteer assistant from the audience playing the part of a "Human Ventriloquist Puppet" in a classic routine from the days of vaudeville, and still recreated by performers on cruise ships and in theaters.
