What kind of act do you actually need?

Every type of hypnotist you can book here, what each one really does on the night, and the fee range to budget for. If you are not sure where to start, the counts show where our roster is deepest.

Hypnotist

A stage hypnosis show where your own guests become the entertainment — which is exactly why it lands so well with groups who already know each other. Needs a willing audience of roughly 50 or more to find enough volunteers.

Typical fee
$1,500–$8,000

Variety Act

Speciality performers who do not fit a neat box — aerialists, quick-change artists, novelty acts. Ideal when you want a short burst of spectacle rather than a full set.

Typical fee
$500–$5,000

Ventriloquist

Comedy through a character, which lets a performer be far cheekier than they could be as themselves. Genuinely broad appeal — one of the few acts that plays equally well to children and to a corporate audience.

Typical fee
$1,500–$12,000

Psychic / Mentalist

Mind-reading and prediction performed as entertainment — table to table through a reception, or as a stage show. Consistently the act guests talk about longest afterwards.

Typical fee
$800–$6,000
About these figures. They are typical booking fees for a single performance in the US, meant as a starting point for your budget rather than a quote. What an act actually charges depends on the date, how far they are travelling, how long you need them for and how big the audience is — so the only number that means anything is the one they give you. Post your event and you will get real quotes back.
